On Judicial (Bull)shit

While doing research for another blog, I have come across an absolutely hilarious piece of information. A county courthouse in Syracuse, NY was named : It is really difficult to make this shit up. James C. Tormey the Third was a criminal that was repeatedly sued by female court employees for politically or personally based discrimination. He was notorious in that he sanctioned an attorney for lawsuit filed against himself for misconduct. He was notorious in that he demoted a court clerk and subjected her to atrocious, unhealthy work conditions because she refused to spy on a fellow judge, opponent of Tormey in upcoming elections. He was notorious for firing a court interpreter because she had the audacity to be acquitted by the jury in a criminal court case brought against her by Tormey's law school roommate and bosom buddy the local DA. I did not plan, ladies and gentlement, to start blogging in this new blog with this topic.  I actually planned a completely different topic for the first article. But, as it happens, life is full of surprises - or non-surprises, as this case shows. My husband, a criminal defense attorney of 37 years in the state of New York who worked out of and had a free legal aid clinic in Delhi, NY for all those years - but who was made-former attorney by the local judicial and prosecutorial mafia (and their children); I, also a made-former criminal defense and civil rights attorney, my family members, my friends have been on the receiving end of blatant and vicious discrimination, harassment and retaliation for decades. Before I was made-former attorney, I started blogging, in a blog named "Attorney Independence and Judicial Accountability in the United States".  Over 11 years, the blog now counts close to 2,000 blog articles - where I subject to deserved, scathing criticism local judges...

 Hello my dear readers, netizens and members of the public. I have been writing in several of my blogs so far, including this one, for around 11 years, covering various issues of judicial misconduct and infringement on access to the court adn independence of legal representation in court, very important issues, many people would agree. Lately though, with a some interesting frequency, certain issues started to grab my attention that ABSOLUTE, VERIFIABLE BULLSHIT - and bullshit created by those who have "The Honorable" as their job titles (not much more, if at all).
